WMGSA’s Official Training Partner: Seams Performance Centre

A new dedicated training opportunity for Waterloo Ghosts athletes
The Waterloo Minor Girls Softball Association (WMGSA) is excited to announce Seams Performance Centre as the official training partner of the Waterloo Ghosts for the 2026/2027 season and beyond.

Following a comprehensive RFP process completed by the WMGSA Board in the summer of 2026, Seams Performance Centre was selected as our indoor training partner. This partnership marks an exciting new opportunity for Ghosts athletes and coaches, giving our teams access to a dedicated indoor facility designed to support specialized softball training and athlete development.

More opportunities to develop year-round
For the first time, WMGSA will have a dedicated indoor training facility available to support our teams throughout the offseason.

Beginning in November 2026, Ghosts teams will have access to Seams for indoor hitting, pitching development, and strength and conditioning opportunities, with programming continuing through May 2027.

Having access to specialized indoor space means our athletes can continue developing important skills throughout the winter months, regardless of weather or field availability. It also gives our coaches additional tools and resources to create meaningful, consistent training opportunities for their players.

Complementing the facilities we already use
Seams Performance Centre will complement, not replace, the excellent facilities WMGSA already utilizes, including RIM Park and Bechtel Park.
Our outdoor facilities will continue to provide important opportunities for defensive work, team practices, fielding development and other aspects of the game. Seams adds another piece to that training environment, providing specialized space where teams can focus on hitting, pitching and overall athletic performance.

Together, these facilities provide Ghosts athletes with a more comprehensive approach to offseason development.

Investing in the future of Ghosts softball
At WMGSA, our goal is to provide our athletes and coaches with the resources and opportunities they need to grow as softball players and as confident, capable athletes.

The partnership with Seams represents an exciting investment in the continued development of the Waterloo Ghosts program. By creating access to dedicated indoor training space, we can help our athletes stay active, build skills and continue progressing throughout the year.

The 2026/2027 indoor training season will begin in November 2026 and continue through May 2027, providing Ghosts teams with valuable opportunities to train and develop throughout the offseason.

We are excited about what this partnership will bring to our athletes, coaches and the entire Ghosts community.
